Dos and Donts...

I believe this trip will be safe as long as we do thinks with precaution. We should pay attention to our ids or passports, not carry too much money. The pickpockets and theifs is something that we see also very often in Panama. Its obvious girls should be at all time with at least one guy to make sure no one will try to act in an inappropiate way with her. We shouldnt be alone actually boys or girls. I actually... well... I DONT KNOW hows mancora, but i think if we just keep ourselfs humble and dont act as a tourist with all type of fancy clothe or electronic stuff everything will be fine.
A danger that well makes everyone nervous its the difference in some stuff involving sanity ( water, food , mosquitoes) but well GOD will be there with us...and I sincerely dont think a MOSQUITOE will be the reason for me to be afraid and not worship and serve with all i am.
Bottomline... I feel safe, we have GOD around us checking that we do everything according to what he has planned and i dont think he will let us get sick if its not part of his plan.

Are u that Person in the article?

GOD has blessed me in many ways and one of them is that i have been able to travel a lot. Ido find myself as one of that 1/3rd of the world that can say in a good hotel, go to a fine restaurant and spend money on tourism. Again GOD has blessed me in every way possible. Panama is a great place to live and most of us that havehad the experience of travelling to other countries have this facility, and it just creates a certain invisble barrier , when we meet people in a mission trip. We as Humans cant actually understand at first how to socialize in a way we dont see the people like, with shame and in a way we dont look as very important and different from them. Solution to this, is time, stay as humble as you can and smile, say yes to everything they offer showing the people that you WANT YOU DESIRE TO CHANGE AND ADDAPT. In my oppininon we will all have this problem, AND WE WILL GET THROUGH IT :D

Jahango as an example questions

well from what i saw between kenya and the  jahango is that the music is a very important part of their culture which is something i reallyyyyy like. Besides that i know most of the african countris right now are in a massive issue in the economic field. But i believe in someway they have been blessed because they can see GOD in ways we will never experiment. Sometime for us the people that lives in city with sky top buildings and restaurants and malls and good jobs, its hard to see GOD´s work between everything around us. Also for people that are not christians, they just done see an importance of believing or not in a god if they are doing well on their well payed job or with something else. Africa is a continent where people have or very few or none luxuries, so they see GOD´s hand in everything , even huge miracles.
The galvez family has the issue of the languaqge , in guinea they speak french which is a new language for them, they have to fins a place for their children to have a good education, they have to asjust to the food, the place to live to sleep. Basically start over their lives from cero. I belive GOD will help them, specially because they are giving up everything fro christ, they are giving everything to go on that rip and glorify GOD. When you do that, GOD from that point will bless u always.

A Community of the Broken

I do believe in every church were new people arrive each sunday certain divsions will begin to occur. Mostly because of differences in levels of society.I guess the real issue is that the church dont see people as Jesus did. Jesus saw everyone better than him , even tough that wasnt true. The moment we learn to do that , people will begin to know each other more, the church will be unified. Unify , thats what we need to learn in this trip , to work together, to know each other, and to care about each other.
To avoid santified tourism we must place as a priority to be with the people , a servant is always near to help, not being at the beach or relaxing Peru is not the priority, the people in Peru are.

Jeffs Tough Questions =)

1 Whats the difference between being a servant and to serve? The difference is this. serving is something you do, you are not forced to, serving its for example doing a favor, helping or just gving a hand on something. Being a servant is constant, its you DEDICATING your day to to help, whether is someone you know or not, maybe is heloing at church or your house. The 2nd differemce, you do this for love, GOD its not gonna hit you or punish you. You do this because you want to , because HE is gonna smile when you serve him with love and because you care about his plans. When i pray about this trip GOD is telling me not to worry about Money and just worry about doing an amazing work in peru.

Prayer Requests

If you would like to pray for me , I need guidance for a project im beginning, which is basically a ministry of young people comitted to give Jesus their all and live for Him, I need strength to begin my 2nd part of this years college time ( 2ndo cuatrimestre), I would like you to pray for God to give me more Joy when I read my bible, for it to become an important part fo my day, please pray for my family and for us to grow more as servants of GOD and finally please go and read everyone else blog , it really doesnt matter if you dont know them, read it and know them and pray for them, I really dont feel the need of people to pray for me right now because of all that GOD has been doing in my life, but thats not the same situation of others so please go and read their blogs know more about them and PRAYYYYYYY PRAYYYYYYY FOR THEM and THIS TRIP :D ...this is something I would like to leave to you for you to reflect throughout all the week,
Time is the most precious gift you can give to someone, WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR TIME TO SOMEONE ,WHEN YOU SPEND TIME WITH SOMEONE, IT MEANS, IM GIVING YOU A PART OF MY LIFE I WILL NEVEEEER GET BACK , A PART OF MY LIFE I CANT BUY, OR GO BACK AGAIN, so...if you do have that special someone that you are thinking while you are reading thisGO and visit them , if u cant see them, pray for them, spend your time on them praying or visiting them or joining them on something, remeber it is the most precious gift you can  give.

Commitments FIRST PART

Almost all of these commitments for me are ver important and very hard to not agree with, except for one which maybe just for the way i am i find just hard for me to swallow at first. The commitment that says "WE WILL as a group take time to step back from the situation we´re in to see whats goin on by scheduling time for planning and reflection". Ibelieve it is important , but I also think we dont know what GOD really wants us to do there, and I know he will show us the true primordial stuff the moment we get there, and I dont think we cant scheduled it all , I am actually a fan of letting things flow in a way we dont try to control everything. I believe it is important to be organize, have a based idea on what we are gonna do, but nothing past that. I like the commiment that says in a few words Humble ourselves to GOD as HIS servants, cause well that s the mission being a servant of GOD away from your country. Theres antoher part of these commitment which i find also very important and is humbling to the people you are serving, specially cause we know they dont have as mucho as we do and we should be greatful about it :D. I truuly love these Commitment, not exagerating our experience of the trip when we give our testimony. I just find that really good cause you know, that is one trip, where you learn so much, but its not hte goal, its not godo to think that you have done something trulyy waoo and amazing and breath taking when its something we should be doing without people saying OHHH WOW YOU ARE A MISSIONAIRE, I BELIVE EVERYONE THAT IS A CHRISITNA SHOULD DO AT LEAT ONE SHORT TERM MISSION. One of the last things Jesus said is GO and Spread the Word ALL OVER the World!!, that is missions either long or short term.
FINALLY "Our indiviual and team preparation will be characterized by..." Love to GOD  and love helping others with all our heart :D
